As the Sr. Director, Procurement & Corporate Services for Zillow Group, Brian leads sourcing and procurement efforts in support of the world’s largest, most trusted and most vibrant real estate and home-related marketplace.

After spending his formative years chasing surf, backpacking, and learning Japanese, Brian finished an undergraduate degree at the University of California and then found employment in Japan with Komatsu Corporation; it was there he received his first (accidental) exposure to procurement, sourcing and supplier relationship management.

Following a return to the U.S. for a graduate degree from the University of California San Diego, Brian embarked on a series of finance and procurement roles in both the public and private sector. Prior to joining Zillow Group last year, Brian spent 5 years at REI leading REI's procurement, sourcing and corporate travel functions as Director, Procurement, preceded by 5 years at Coldwater Creek (a specialty women’s retailer) as Director, Procurement and Finance Shared Services.

Brian is an avid surfer, enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, and is an unrepentant Seattle Seahawks fan.
