He also has extensive experience representing companies’ licensing enterprise systems and contracting for systems integration and systems development for those systems. He benefits in this practice from majoring in Computer Studies as an undergraduate, receiving an MBA from the University of Chicago, and working as a software developer and IBM Marketing Representative for years before attending Harvard Law School.
Joe Pennell is a partner in the Chicago office of Mayer Brown’s Technology Transactions and Corporate & Securities practices. Joe focuses his practice on information technology and managed services transactions, including cloud computing, software licensing and implementation, and the outsourcing of finance and accounting services, IT infrastructure services and support, managed network services, and application development and maintenance.
