He serves clients across the energy value chain, primarily focused on energy transition, corporate strategy and planning as well as in public sector policy projects related to energy. Additionally, he has led a number of projects in M&A among US utilities. Prior to that, Muss led sourcing and supply chain projects when many North American energy companies embraced category management. He has 10 years of experience in the Americas and the Middle East. Muss holds a BS in Chemical Engineering and a BA in International Relations from Syracuse University and a MEng in Energy Economics and Engineering from Cornell University. Prior to joining Oliver Wyman, Muss worked at PwC’s Strategy& (formerly Booz & Company) and at PowerAdvocate. He started his career as an engineer designing offshore pipelines.
