Christine Oumansour is a Partner in Oliver Wyman’s Energy and Operations practices. Her teams focus on strategy, market scenarios and economics, and capital program design and execution with a view to maximizing value and supporting executives to develop resilient and living strategies. Christine’s industry experience is focused on the Energy sector, serving electric and gas utilities as well as oil & gas companies across the US, Canada, and the Middle East.  Christine and her team have worked a portfolio of over $400Bn of energy capital projects covering all forms of generation, electric and gas transmission, and distribution, as well as upstream E&P. Christine Co-leads Oliver Wyman`s Global Gas Center ofExcellence.

Experience:

  • Energy Transition Strategy: Advises various utility and Gas clients across North America on Energy Transition scenarios, strategic approaches, and corporate resilience and business planning to address and tackle the evolving set of challenges posed by the Energy Transition.
  • Natural Gas of the Future: Ongoing work on how natural gas players across upstream, midstream, downstream and utility distribution can anticipate and proactively respond to the pressures shaping the discussion on Gas across North America and globally.
  • Execution Optimization Advisory: Advises various North American utilities and O&G companies on the direction and planning for their capital portfolios, including: optimization of make v buy decisions, delivery approach effectiveness, organizational optimization, market-led planning activities, long-range forecasting and scenario planning, as well as rate case support and regulatory advisory for Utilities.
  • Economic Advisory: Provides strategic advice to utility executives addressing organizational direction, cost competitiveness of assets and construction programs, anticipation of market movements in labor and materials, and impact of the various, and fluctuating, economic factors on energy markets and planned project execution.
  • Capital Program Execution: Supports the planning and execution processes for large capital projects or programs, including developing contracting approaches, advising on negotiations and cost structuring, and assessment of total portfolio costs.
