Supplier Management – Relying on Critical Suppliers
A summary of responses received for this Peer2Peer inquiry is available below.
Original Inquiry
We wish to benchmark our reliance on the use of privately held suppliers (i.e., non-public companies) for critical services. Please provide, on a percentage basis, the number of privately-held suppliers from among the overall population of suppliers provided critical services. The population for the denominator of the percentage population could also be measured as your total Key or Tier 1 suppliers, depending on your supplier tiering and segmentation model.
