The Senior Procurement Partner works collaboratively with Medical Directors, Hospital Directors, Clinical Managers, Support Services and Leadership to buy goods and services for Medvet, discussing and reviewing supplier contracts, evaluating quality, price, reliability and availability of goods and services.
The primary focus of this position is to plan and oversee the work of Purchasing Agents, hiring new staff and to develop organization’s procurement rules ang regulations.
What you'll do:
Who You Are
Our ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree, business concentration with 3 or more years sourcing and/or contract management experience. In addition, this position requires:
3-5 years' people leadership experience
Ability to speak technical and legal jargon and explain complex contractual issues in a succinct and simple manner so that people can understand.
Excellent interpersonal skills: ability to communicate effectively and facilitate effective collaboration with internal and external audiences
Analytical skills with ability to manipulate large volumes of spend data for analysis of supplier, product, and facility utilization.
Understanding of finance and accounting impact of assigned areas of spend.
Ability to coach, train and provide feedback
Strong project management skills and process excellence
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software
Travel less than 10%
