We are in the process of updating our Supplier Code of Conduct. Specifically we address ethics, legal and regulatory compliance, privacy, employment practices, gift and entertainment, reciprocity and environmental stewardship. While we feel we have a solid Code in place, I'd like to see samples of other codes to compare against ours. I would also be interested in subject matter outside of those listed above that you find important to include in your Code. If you are willing to share your Code of Conduct please reply to this email. As a reminder, SIG will scrub and remit for your approval, any donations.
We are also trying to determine the most efficient way to document acceptance of the Code. While it is easy to share it with all suppliers via email, documenting acceptance and monitoring progress of responses could be cumbersome. I'd like to hear from you on ways you've been successful in monitoring this activity. We also plan to make this an annual review/acceptance. Is this consistent with other Supplier Code of Conduct programs?
