This SIG Member in the finance industry is seeking Software Asset Management solutions for server (not desktop) software to manage assets across their enterprise.
Currently in the discovery phase, they like to understand how other organizations operate SAM reviews and what solutions/providers out there have proven to be unsuccessful/successful in doing so as well as highlight any key information that would be beneficial in making a strategic decision.
1.Has your organization conducted a Server Asset Management review recently?
2. If yes, did you realize any savings during the review? If yes, what percent savings against your spend did you realize?
3. If yes, did you use a Vendor to perform the review on your behalf? If so, who did you use? Were you happy with their service?
