The Need Is Now: Contract Simplification

In today's dynamic business environment, where predictability is fleeting, procurement documents must be simplified, making the process easier to reach agreement with suppliers and easier to manage relationships with suppliers. At the same time, contracts must accommodate more agile supply chains due to the ongoing world-changing events. Simplifying contracts is a path to create positive changes in before-signature and after-signature actions and strengthen supplier relationships. Considering four aspects of documents—the look, the structure, the content, and the tone--organizations can adopt high-quality procurement documents that shorten time-to-contract and reduce contract leakage.
