MythBusters: Debunking Common Perceptions about Nearshoring
Latin America has gotten a bad rap as a service provider. Myths abound which are at a minimum, exaggerated and in many cases untrue. During this session, experts will debunk the myths through case studies, hard numbers and facts to test the validity of the popular beliefs about nearshoring. We will address the main barriers still facing Latin America as an outsourcing destination today. English language proficiency? Educational level? Tech-savviness? Turnover? Political turmoil? Economic risk? All of these are issues that are top-of-mind to people considering this destination.
