My Professional Cinderella Moment
Five years of mundane procurement-iness. Executing RFPs, POs, negotiating rate cards. One day, an opportunity struck. A door flung open and a ticket to the ball appeared out of nowhere. Terrified yet exhilarated, I took a leap. All along the way, I tried and I struggled. I learned and I grew. I even managed to surprise myself. What a difference a year can make. What I managed to accomplish in that year continues to surprise me to this day.
