Market Disruptive Solutions: Rethinking how Supply Chain Management Creates Value

Sourcing and Supply Chain Management (SCM) have evolved over the past decade to be recognized as significant contributors to the bottom line. Traditional sourcing events generating hard dollar cost savings are still important, but are inadequate in our time of rapidly evolving and converging technologies, increased market competition and the emergence of new types of suppliers and supply chain fulfillment. SCM leaders need to be more creative in defining and extracting value from the supply chain in order to meet stakeholder expectations.
