This webinar will highlight key findings from A.T. Kearney's Assessment of Excellence in Procurement (AEP) global study. Conducted every three years, this study has become an industry standard for supply management professionals to gain an understanding of current and emerging best practices. Since the last AEP Study in 2008, global businesses have had to weather the worst economic recession since the Great Depression of the 1930’s. The supply management function played a critical role as organizations had to quickly address cost issues across their value chain and reevaluate their business models. Procurement also realized that getting a handle on performance measurement and developing a consistent method of communicating accomplishments with the rest of the organization was critical to its success. We will take a deep dive into lessons learned, initiatives leveraged by procurement to help their organizations remain competitive in a fickle global market place, as well as what’s next for the function.
