The University of Vermont Health Network engaged with a technology and negotiation company to develop a mobile device application for physicians to view comparable cardiac rhythm management (CRM) device costs and features. Physicians also reviewed weekly scorecards tracking their device utilization, and selected their products to be used in advance of the case, minimizing pressure from the vendor to bias selection at the time of implant.
