Procurement's mandate in 2022 has expanded well beyond "getting the best price". Sustainability, diversity, risk, innovation and other goals have evolved from background issues into primary responsibilities. In order to gain traction in these areas, Procurement needs more visibility into both existing and prospective supplier relationships. This talk will discuss the problems that arise from poor supplier visibility, the benefits from improving it, and solutions that can deliver both immediate impact and long-term benefits.
