Born and raised in countryside Saudi Arabia to Egyptian parents, Ahmed moved to Egypt in 1995 and finally relocated to Australia in 2012. He is currently the logistics procurement manager for the Asia Pacific region at GlaxoSmithKline.
His professional experience has seen him work across many industries and countries including Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Emirates, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Japan, Indonesia, South Korea and The Philippines.
When not busy with family or work commitments, Ahmed volunteers with many charities and not for profit organisations that focus on empowering people and providing grassroots' solutions to social issues. Ahmed also provides mentoring and facilitates Job Readiness workshops.
